Agricultural College and Research Institute

Agricultural College and Research Institute (AC & RI), Thanjavur is an agricultural college at Navalurkottapattu village Tiruchirappalli. It is constituent college of the Tamil Nadu Agriculture University established in 2014. It offers Undergraduate degree in agriculture at TNAU and is also prominent in research on salt affected soils. The institution is approved by ICAR, New Delhi.

It is located on Thiruchi Dindugal Highway Road at Navalur Kuttappattu near. It has research centre at Tiruchirappalli, Kumaraperumal Farm Science Centre – Soil Salinity Research Centre. It is located at a distance of 18 km from Thanjavur with an area of 110 acres. The College started functioning at Eacgangkottai, Orathanad Block, Thanjavur district.

The University offered multidisciplinary facilities for the students in its various campuses. The lecture halls are provided with public address system and LCD projection highly qualified and experienced faculty members, well-organized central library, etc.
