The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an official public notice dated 16th January 2025, outlining the conduct of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) for the year 2025.

The NTA will focus solely on higher education entrance exams from 2025, ceasing recruitment exams. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced reforms, including NTA restructuring with ten new posts and enhanced zero-error testing. CUET-UG will remain annual, while discussions are ongoing about conducting NEET as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
