International Institute of Veterinary Education and Research (IIVER) was established in the year 2011 under the umbrella of Jan Shakti Charitable Trust, Rohtak. The main objective of the trust is to provide help in the establishment or maintenance of educational institutes including schools and colleges which can either be for general or technical education including medicine, veterinary, commerce, agriculture, literature, philosophy, science including domestic science or arts, physical education etc. The trust shall also help in promotion, encouragement and advancement of education in art and artistic efforts in all its branches including imparting of knowledge in art, allied or abstract music, painting, drama, dancing, photography, sculpture and of any other kind.

The college is situated at by-pass, National Highway 10, Bahu Akbarpur, Rohtak, 10 kms from Rohtak city. The location is ideally suited as Delhi is only 75 kms away and the area falls under National Capital Region and is the home of world renowned Murrah buffaloes also called as Black Gold.

The International Institute of Veterinary Education and Research (IIVER) complex consists of modern buildings, well equipped laboratories and residential accommodation for the students and the faculty. The Veterinary Clinical Complex is also well equipped with modern and essential facilities like diagnostic laboratory, small and large animal X-ray machines, ultrasonography, physiotherapy equipments and operation theatres for both small and large animals.

A large number of clinical cases are brought to the clinic thus providing sufficient teaching material for the students and well exposure to animal ailments in various species. A well managed Livestock Farm Complex is also functional which involves the students in all aspects of animal rearing.

In addition, our well equipped Ambulatory Clinic provides free Veterinary services in various neighboring villages and Gaushalas. Many free clinical camps are also organized for the prevention and eradication of animal diseases in the larger interest of animal health welfare. The college has a state of the art conference room, lecture halls and well stocked library and an auditorium.

Admission Process

International Institute of Veterinary Education and Research (IIVER) Veterinary Counseling is conducted by

1 ) Veterinary Council of India (VCI) - Open to all (15%)

The  Veterinary Council of India (VCI) conducts Counseling for allotment of B.V.Sc. & A.H. seats to the NEET UG eligible and qualified candidates in participating Government Veterinary Colleges of the country. All the candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by National TestingAgency (NTA) including candidates from Union Territory of J&K will be eligible. The  Veterinary Council of India will use the merit list of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG)-2022 (NEET (UG)-2022) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for filling up 15% of seats in the recognized Veterinary Colleges under the All India Quota. Other criteria of selection and admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree course shall be as per Veterinary Council of India - MSVE, Degree Course (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) Regulations, 2016.

RESERVATION OF SEATS  (15% Quota 

  • 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates
  • 7.5% of seats are reserved for ST candidates
  • 10% of seats are reserved for EWS candidates
  • 27% of seats are reserved for OBC candidates (Non-Creamy Layer)
  • 5% seats in each category are reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates as defined in physical disability in the MSVE -Degree Course (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) Regulations, 2016 on a horizontal basis.

Counseling for Allotment of 15% VCI Seats

The online counseling for allotment of 15% VCI seats for the academic year 2022-23 will be held in four stages [ Round -1, Round -2, Mop-up Round, and Stray Round]. The counseling will be done based on NEET (UG) 

2022-23 ranking and through the VCI Counseling portal. All banking-related matters will be dealt  by the Bank of Baroda. The seat will be allotted in the colleges based on the availability of seats, his/her NEET Rank, and the choice exercised by the candidates subject to fulfillment of other criteria viz. nationality, age, essential qualification, etc. as laid down in this Information Bulletin. 2) Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar - State Domicile - 85%

The Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar conducts Counseling for the allotment of 85% of  B.V.Sc. & A.H. seats. The allotment is done based on Merit in NEET-UG conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

  • The competent authority reserves the right to reject any application form for reasons to be recorded in writing.
  • The counseling scheme and schedule will be displayed on the University website in due course of time and the same will be binding upon the candidates. The candidates are advised to keep visiting University website for the latest updates.
  • The admissions to all the seats (except NRI and Foreign Nationals) of B.V.Sc. & A.H. program at veterinary colleges will be made as per the Merit list to be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the NEET (UG)-2022 conducted by NTA.
  • The candidate having obtained mark 1 and above will only be considered in merit. All the state quota seats of B.V.Sc. & A.H. program at colleges is only for Haryana resident candidates, while for admission to the management quota seats of affiliated private colleges, candidates from all over India including Haryana will be eligible, subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions.
  • All the state quota seats of COVS, LUVAS, as well as affiliated private colleges, will be filled up by the roster system as indicated by Govt. of Haryana and instructions received from time to time.
  1. Admission to Management Quota Seats of affiliated private colleges will be made on the basis of the All India Merit List of NEET (UG)-2022 for which candidates from all over the country including Haryana will be eligible.
  2. Admission to seats reserved for Kashmiri Migrants/nonmigrant Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Hindu Families and J&KResidents  at  COVS, LUVAS, Hisar will be made on the basis of the Merit List of NEET (UG)-2022.
  3. The candidates, who have been allotted seats as per the NEET (UG)-2022 merit list in the respective category, are to report for document checking and other admission formalities as per the schedule to be uploaded on the university website, in the Auditorium of the College of Veterinary Sciences, LUVAS, Hisar, failing which they will have no claim for admission. No separate letter in this connection shall be issued.

The candidates are required to produce all the original documents, two recently taken photos, and two sets of self-attested photocopies of documents, etc. as per rule 3.11 of this Chapter, at the time of document checking, failing which they shall be refused admission. The candidates who intend to seek admission to LUVAS and have deposited their original documents in another institute for admission are required to bring the original fee receipts and a written statement of that institute that his/her original documents are retained with the institute. Also, such candidates have to bring two sets of photocopies of original documents and other essentials with them. The original documents of the admitted candidates shall be retained by Registrar's office and temporarily provided to the candidate on a written request for a week or up to one day before the subsequent counseling, whichever is earlier and if not returned back by the date committed, admission of that candidate shall stand automatically canceled and seat will be declared vacant. These documents will be returned to the candidates after the completion of the verification process.

List of required Documents 

Original and two sets of self-attested photocopies of the following documents are required to be deposited in person with the Admission Committee at the time of document checking and failure to produce any of the original documents shall make the candidate ineligible for admission.

  1. Matric Certificate with  Date of  Birth and father’s/mother’s name and 10+2  certificate from  Board of  School  Education,  Haryana/ CBSE/ICSE/any other Board considered approved/equivalent as a member by COBSE, New Delhi. If any certificate is found fake or not equivalent by any of the above Boards, admission will be canceled and legal action initiated. In case the result has been declared publicly but the certificate of qualifying examination has not been issued by the concerned Board/University such candidates shall have to produce a certificate (Annexure-XII) from the Head of the institute last attended.
  2. Admit Card issued by the concerned Education Board for 10+2 final examinations.
  3. Score Card depicting marks obtained in NEET (UG)-2022 examination.
  4. Haryana Resident Certificate (Annexure-II), if required.
  5. Character Certificate from the institute last attended.
  6. The applicants who have passed the qualifying examination earlier and if there is a gap of more than one year from the date of declaration of the result of the previous examination (other than the pursuit of studies in an institution/college) shall give a self undertaking regarding their non- enrolment in any institution  (Annexure-XIII).  Similarly,  the applicants who have passed the qualifying examination as private Candidates will also have to submit undertakings in this regard.
  7. Relevant certificate if the benefit of the reserved category is being claimed (Annexure-III/V/VI/VII/VIII/IX/X/XI as the case may be). The candidates claiming reservation under BCA/BCB categories are required to submit the latest category certificate (Annexure-VI) along with the latest Income Certificate (Annexure-VII) issued on or after 01.04.2022 by the competent authority. Similarly, the EWS category candidates are required to submit the latest income and asset certificate issued by the competent authority on or after 01.04.2022 in the format prescribed in Annexure-VIII.
  8. AadhaarCard.
  9. Candidates claiming admission to the seats for Kashmiri Migrants are required to submit the Kashmiri Migrants Certificate issued by the competent authority.
  10. Candidates belonging to Jammu & Kashmir are required to submit Jammu & Kashmir resident certificate issued by the competent authority.
  11. The candidates must bring two(same) colored 2.0"×2.0"  size photographs with NTA {NEET (UG)-2022} specifications as uploaded on the application form at the time of counseling.
