Imayam Institute of Agriculture and Technology (IIAT) is one of the Imayam Group of Educational Institutions. It started in accordance with G.O.(MS) 140 of Agriculture(AU) Department dated02.07.2013. The Agricultural College started functioning from 27.07.2013 with the admission strength of 60 students per year.The college is situated at Kannanur on the Thuraiyur-Namakwa Highway, six kilometers away from Thuraiyur Municipality. The college is well connected by roads and the nearest railway station is at Tiruchirappalli, which is 50 km. from Thuraiyur. The nearby airport is at Tiruchirappalli.
